How can a fairytale wedding in Prague look like? For Andrej and Jirina all started with a wedding ceremony in the romantic St. Thomas church, for the photo shoot we went for a drive in a beautiful white Rolls-Royce and the day ended on a wedding party in a luxury Vila Richter. Guests from around the world contributed to the special atmosphere (the groom’s family actually comes from my native region in Slovakia). It was fun to use our dialect, which I haven’t heard for years and it was pretty suprising for the guests as well.
The whole wedding day run smoothly under the supervision of White Agency. I was intrigued that the Syrians give the bride plenty of jewelry. Not only parents, but also everyone close to the family. Almost as much as the Slovak give flowers (which is not common in Prague). So at the end of the wedding ceremony hands of the bride were quite full of gold and jewelry. The wedding speeches normaly don’t take a lot of my interests. Well I take photographs of speakers, but don’t listen very carefuly. This time, however, I had to laugh at the humorous speech of younger sister, who was allegedly fighting for her older sister and has showed her biceps to warn Andrew, that he has to behave in this relationship. This wedding in Prague will surely be among those which I will remember for a long time and with love.

Jak může vypadat pohádková svatba v Praze? V případě Jiřiny a Andreje vše začalo svatebním obřadem v romantickém kostele Sv. Tomáše, jezdilo se v nádherném bílém Rolls-Royce a svatební párty se konala v luxusní Vile Richter. Hosté z celého světa přispěli špetkou exotiky (rodina ženicha dokonce pochází z mého rodného kraje). Byla zábava po letech oprášit naše nářečí a trochu překvapit hosty. Celý den probíhal díky skvělé organizaci svatební agenturou White Agency velmi hladce. Zaujalo mě, že Syřané nevěstě věnují zlato a šperky. Nejen rodiče, ale i všichni blízcí. Téměř stejně, jako se na Slovensku dávají kytky, tady nevěsta dostávala náramky a šperky. Při svatebních proslovech většinou fotím a moc nevnímám obsah. Tentokrát jsem se ale musel smát na vtipném proslovu mladší sestry a zároveň svědkyně, která se prý za sestru pere už od mala a svaly se snažila varovat Andreje, aby se ve vztahu snažil. Tato svatba v Praze, bude určitě patřit k těm, na které budu dlouho a s láskou vzpomínat.
