Michelle & Jindrich – wedding Zurich

If there are Czech people living abroad they often look for Czech photographer to photograph their wedding. I can see two main reasons here: for their budget they can usually hire better photographer as prices in countries like Austria, Germany or Switzerland are still much higher. Second important advantage is that photographer is able to communicate with all family and guests even when they don’t speak German or English.
Recently I was hired as a photographer for a wedding in Zurich. As there were few complications one day before the wedding (wetter forecast, makeup artist, etc.) the bride was not in the best mood when we met on the airport and I was very worried and afraid. You need some smile and positive emotions. So I decided to make everything I can to make her smile on the wedding day. It worked and our cooperation was perfect during the wedding. This was huge lesson for me. Sometimes you need to step out of your shoes and be not only the photographer, but someone who cares, who listens and supports you like a friend. It’s rewarding for your work as well because photographing a friend is always a pleasure. 😉

Pokud je nevěsta nebo ženich české národnosti a žijí v zahraničí, často na svatbu hledají i českého fotografa. Vidím zde dva hlavní důvody: za své peníze si mohou dovolit lepšího fotografa, protože ceny služeb v Rakousku, Německu či Švýcarsku jsou pořád vyšší. Další velkou výhodou je, že fotograf může komunikovat i s rodinou/hosty, kteří nemluví anglicky či německy.
Nedávno jsem fotil svatbu v Zurichu. Protože ne vše vypadalo den před svatbou podle plánu (vizážistka, počasí atd., nevěsta neměla při našem setkání na letišti nejlepší náladu a já měl velké obavy. Je potřeba úsměv a pozitivní nálada. Rozhodl jsem se proto, že udělám maximum co mohu pro to, aby se nevěsta během svého svatebního dne smála. Dařilo se a naše spolupráce byla ve svatební den skvělá. Byla to pro mě velká zkušenost. Někdy je potřeba být někdo víc než fotograf, ale ještě i ten kdo se stará, kdo naslouchá a podporuje vás jako přítel. Odměnou pro vaši práci je pak to, ze fotografování přítele je vždy příjemné.
